Tanlin is the biological way to deal with the root-eating fungus gnat and scarid fly. Tanlin is completely safe, effective and odour-free.

Canadian Xpress Tanlin recommended dosage for recirculating systems: 1ml (40 drops)/100 litres

Canadian Xpress Tanlin recommended dosage for run-to waste systems: 5 drops in 200ml water for each 10 litres of rooting medium

Canadian Xpress Tanlin recommended dosage for soil or coco: 1 drop per 2 litres of water. Thoroughly drench the growing medium. Repeat weekly. Tanlin can be reapplied if necessary or can be used as part of your normal watering/feed routine.

Gnats have to eat the tanlin to become effected so it doesn't work instantly – the gnat population will decrease over time after application.

Please note: Never use Hydrogen Peroxide alongside Tanlin as this can reduce its effectiveness against Fungus Gnats.
