The Powdered Sulphur for the Hotbox Sulfume Sulphur Vaporiser is one of the best ways of preventing pests and moulds getting a hold in your grow-room. The hotbox slowly releases sulphur vapour which inhibits the spread of powdery mildew, botrytis and pests such as spider mites.

How the Powdered Sulphur Works:

Powdered Sulphur is for use with the the Hotbox Sulfume Sulphur Vaporiser. The Hotbox Sulfume Vaporiser heats the sulphur via a thermostatically controlled hot-plate. The Hotbox heats sulphur just to the point where it vaporises slowly into the grow-room. With it’s carefully controlled heating action, the Hotbox will not produce any toxic combustion products like sulphur dioxide, only sulphur vapour is produced. Sulphur vapour kills mould spores, preventing the spread of fungi and rot. Sulphur is also toxic to spider mites and various other grow-room pests. The Hotbox releases a consistent 2 gram dose of sulphur over an 8 hour period ensuring there is no wastage.

How to use the Powdered Sulphur:

Fill the container in your Hotbox Sulfume Sulphur vaporiser with the powdered up to the fill-level mark and place back into the Hotbox on the hot-plate. The Hotbox releases a controlled dose over an 8-hour period, inhibiting the spread of mould spores and spider mites. Use once a week during a dark-period with fans and lights switched off as a preventative measure. For an on-going infestation, use your Hotbox every dark-period for a week or so until the situation is back under control.
