How to use Canna Silica

Silicon is highly alkaline and can cause nutrient lockout if mixed incorrectly. Always follow Canna's exact sequential order when preparing your reservoir:

Fill & Shake: Fill your primary water tank completely. Shake the Canna Silica bottle vigorously before use.

Dose: Add 1ml to 2ml of Canna Silica per 1 litre of water (10-20ml per 10 Litres). Note: This will increase your base EC by 0.25 to 0.5 mS/cm.

Pre-Adjust pH: Stir thoroughly, then adjust the reservoir pH to approximately 7.0. This creates the ideal chemical environment before introducing other nutrients.

Add Base Feeds: Add your regular base nutrients (like Canna Aqua Vega or Canna Coco) and regular additives according to their labels.

Final pH Check: Check your final mix and adjust down to your desired target root zone value (5.2 to 6.2 for hydro/coco).
